Authentic Entertainment has promoted Greg Tremain to the newly-created role of commercial director, overseeing the company's national sales operation and brand partnerships as well as its media content assets.

Tremain is charged with developing brand partnerships and sourcing new revenue streams for the media properties Vevo and Take 40, in addition to evolving Authentic's recent strategic alliance with global entertainment marketing agency Frukt.

He was formerly head of brand partnerships and was pivotal in the Live at the Chapel partnership with Samsung Milk deal. Prior to this, he developed a number of content-led initiatives in the music and entertainment space for multiple Authentic Entertainment clients including Telstra and Federal Government.

Tremain said: "This is an exciting time for the business as we continue to deliver innovative new platforms and engaging content for our partners and consumers alike. I look forward to driving our operations forward in my new role as we continue to seek opportunities to grow the business further."

Authentic Entertainment CEO John Wardley added: "Greg has been with the business for the past 10 years and has a deep knowledge of our business which made him the best candidate for this new role. Brand partnerships are having a growing impact on the business and I am confident we can drive them forward in the coming months with Greg at the helm."

The head of brand partnerships position left vacant by Tremain will be filled by Luke Cook. He moves into his new role after heading up Authentic's NSW sales operation since October 2007.

Greg and Luke will be working in a national capacity across Authentic Entertainment's Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Auckland offices.

There have been a number of staffing shifts at the company in the last few weeks. Brett 'Nozz' Nossiter departed his position as content acquisition and partnerships director at Authentic and has joined iHeartradio/ARN as content director, while Mamamia has hired Authentic's former national sales director Danika Johnston as its national sales manager.
