Phase two of the Palau Pledge has kicked off following the Australian Government putting up US$60,000 to support the eco initiative supporting the tiny Pacific island nation of Palau.

Host/Havas and Red Agency launched the campaign late in 2017, with some help from Leonardo DiCaprio and others, to help the country overcome the impacts of its 160,000 annual visitors in a sustainability drive to protects its future.

The campaign has beenĀ earned Host/Havas slate of awards globally and recently earned them the title of Award Award's Agency of the Year.

As part of the campaign, the Palau Pledge to the nation's children was created to encourage tourists and locals to be accountable for their actions while on Palau. Visitors to Palau are encouraged to sign the pledge at immigration, promising to protect and preserve the nation's ecosystem for future generations.

Included in the campaign is a dedicated website - palaupledge.com - that provides information to visitors and the tourism industry and a short film is shown on every inbound flight to Palau.
