Atomic 212 has launched legal action in the NSW Supreme Court against former CEO Jason Dooris.

The media agency alleges Dooris breached the disparagement clause in his termination agreement.

Sworn statements by both Atomic212 chair Barry O’brien and business director Harriette Hickey have been lodged with the court.

According to a summons, Atomic seeks to stop Dooris making allegations against the company concerning bribes and kickbacks at the expense of clients, of money laundering, and that the company was being investigated by the NSW Police Serious Fraud unit and the corporate regulator, ASIC.

The accusations were allegedly outlined in an email.

The media agency has filed a statement of claim. Dooris has not yet to filed a defence.

The next court hearing is scheduled for December.

Dooris left the agency he founded in February 2018 following queries over the validity of some of the Atomic's award entries.
