Alpha Salmon launches mobile shop AppCast

SYDNEY: STW-owned digital agency Alpha Salmon has launched a mobile content consultancy called AppCast, the first company in the group to focus specifically on mobile applications and mobile web. 
AppCast's newly appointed managing director Mike Boyd said that demand from Alpha Salmon clients looking to reach customers via the growing mobile platform led to the establishment of the new company. 
"There are a range of consultancies out there that offer mobile solutions a spart of the digital mix," Boyd said. "But we believe that mobile content and mobile engagement will be the fastest growing market in the enxt five years, and one that requires a single-minded approach developed with an extremely high-level of quality."
STW chief executive Michale Connaghan said: "Mobility is now a global game changer for almost every facet of business. AppCast and its committed team are well advanced in this space and will no doubt be leaders in the mobile business space, both in terms of technological strength and developmental capabilities."
Boyd has over ten years of experience working in the digital space, having worked for Tribal DDB and Tabcorp prior to joiing Alpha Salmon. At Alpha Salmon, he has worked with clients such as Vodafone, Budget Rent a Car and Tabcorp.

AppCast will be led by managing director Mike Boyd, who has over ten years of experience working in the digital space, having worked for Tribal DDB and Tabcorp prior to joiing Alpha Salmon.

At Alpha Salmon, Boyd will work clients Vodafone, Budget Rent a Car and Tabcorp.
