BBDO has shuffled its regional management structure naming agency veteran Jim Moser as the chairman of BBDO Europe.

Moser is currently the chairperson of Clemenger BBDO in Melbourne and was the CEO of Clemenger New Zealand for more than 10 years before stepping down in September this year.

The American also led Clemenger Sydney between 1999 and 2008 as managing director. He shifted to the CEO of the New Zealand business but took on the additional responsibility of the Melbourne office in 2014 when CEO Peter Biggs departed.

Moser will relocate to AMV BBDO's offices in London next year.

St John Walshe will take over as CEO, BBDO Americas. He replaces Chris Thomas, who stepped down from the role after three and a half years last month.

Walshe is currently managing director of BBDO’s European business, where he leads the global Mars account. He will move to the US in 2019, taking over from Chris Thomas.

Thomas announced he would be stepping down from the role last month in order to be closer to friends and family in Australia and Singapore.

Both will report into Andrew Robertson, president and chief executive of BBDO Worldwide.
