Diversity has become a central component of AdNews’ editorial strategy over the past 18 months: not just in terms of the wider demography of Australia, which we explored in our Reframing Australia event last year, but also the issue of diversity, and what it means, across the industries we serve.
Rather than treat the issue as something to be explored on a one-off basis, we have made it one of our core pillars: as evidenced too by our booking of Cricket Australia head of female engagement, Sarah Styles at our Summit last week in Sydney.
To take this issue even further, we decided to look at whether diversity in our industry reflects the diversity of Australia.
To find out, we have partnered with data consultancy Magic Beans to develop the Advertising Diversity Index. This will enable us to benchmark our industry (we’re not looking at individual companies) against Australia as a whole, but we need your help.
