Calling all AdNews Challengers, the timings from Sunday's event are in and that eagerly anticipated video from the drone has arrived.

For those of you that skipped this year's challenge, then now is the time to check out the competition for next year. You can check out all your times here.

Below we have plenty of pics from the four-part outdoor extravaganza and luckily, thanks to DroneHeadz there was also a drone on hand to capture highlights.

Nearly 500 onlookers and professionals/athletes from the media, ad and marketing industry gathered at the picturesque Clifton Gardens Reserve in Mosman on Sunday (16 November), to take part in the AdNews Challenge.

The fast-paced competitive event involved a 2km kayak, a 6km run, 600m swim and a new and exhilarating obstacle course. Taken on by teams of four, or as an individual, the challenge was no mean feat.

Event organiser James Yaffa, who braved the event solo and reached an overall position of 11 out of 22, said the new obstacle leg added an extra dimension to this year's challenge.

"The AdNews Challenge is tough, but it’s good fun and we have had some great feedback on this year's event already,” Yaffa said.

"The relay-style nature is great for team work, the obstacle course was a fun yet gruelling new addition and as an individual taking on the whole challenge, it is pretty demanding.”

Competitors hailed from the likes of Amobee, Bauer Media, M&C Saatchi, ZenithOptimedia, AdRoll, Rocketfuel, TubeMogul, Whybin\TBWA, Lavender, News Corp, Salmat, TMS, Yahoo7 and many more.

This year's major sponsor of the AdNews Challenge was Bauer Media. Supporting sponsors were Alto LandRover, Adshel, Amobee, APN Outdoor, Fairfax Media, MCN, Nine Entertainment Co, Mindshare, realestate.com.au, Rocketfuel, Salmat, and Seven Media Group. Associate sponsors were Adstream, GSP Print, ICUR, Lavender, Maxus, Pandora, Paykel Media, Starcom and ZenithOptimedia.

CEO of Lavender, Will Lavender said: “Thank you AdNews. The challenge gets better and better year-on-year. It's great fun for all and Lavender will be back next year to defend its digital victory.”
