Former Mitchell & Partners boss Allen Scash has joined MediaCom Melbourne as non-executive chairman.
Scash is well known in adland, having led Mitchell & Partners, Optimedia and ZenithMedia during an accomplished career of more than 40 years.
He retired from as the MD of Mitchells just over a year ago.
"I had no intentions of coming back to the industry, having been quite happy playing golf and fishing, but there's a great team there at MediaCom and I feel like I have a lot to add," he says.
MediaCom CEO Sean Seamer adds: "Scash is a legend in our industry. He knows the Melbourne market inside out and I’m honoured that we have managed to garner his support."
Scash is the second senior MediaCom hire this week. Yesterday, it was revealed Fiona Meldrum rejoined the agency as director of strategy and labs.
