As part of the Online team and broader Marketing team, this person is responsible for ownership, development and implementation of initiatives that enhance and increase on-line presence across all audiences and geographies.
The role is responsible for developing and maintaining most of digital channels (public sites, the intranet and research portal) to fully represent strategy and creating a powerful and highly measurable distribution and marketing mechanism.
This person will harness their knowledge of online expertise and e-Marketing techniques to continue improving the online channel for in order to provide our clients with a high level of experience. This person will be pro-active in developing relationships and initiatives.
The role will be also manage, lead and mentor the Online Team consisting of two Online Producers.
Main focus areas
• Developing, managing and driving online channel (all public websites, intranet and internal research portal) ensuring they align to business strategy and deliver to client expectations.
• Drive and manage online marketing activities:
• Team management - Lead, manage and mentor online producers in ensuring the team delivers to business strategy
• Manage online team process - continuously improving and streamlining process as well as ensuring all process are compliant
• Build and manage excellent relationships with IT, working closely with IT delivery manager, developers and project managers to deliver on online solutions
• Innovative and research focussed:
• Brand advocate - managing brand guidelines across the websites, ensuring all enhancements and promotions are in line with brand guidelines. Ability to provide guidance to designers, online producers, business stakeholders and developers on application of creative to digital channels based on usability.
• Strong stakeholder management skills - Online team collaborates with a vast number of stakeholders across the entire business. This role needs to ensure that maintenance of strong relationships with stakeholders and provide continuous education and support to all stakeholders on online initiatives.
• Driving visibility and prominence of the online team within the business by providing consultation on online initiatives and positioning the team as experts within the online space

Knowledge and experience
- 5+ years experience in delivery of external facing on-line sites and services
- Experience with developing cutting edge and best practice website and e-Marketing initiatives, with demonstrated success. Usability experience is essential.
- A good understanding of web technologies and Content Management Systems
- Solid understanding of e-marketing - SEM, online advertising, EDM etc
