We are looking for a unique individual who is culturally and socially immersed to amplify our ideas & talks program.
This is an exciting opportunity for a savvy marketer to lead the marketing programs for our groundbreaking ideas and talks area. We are looking for someone who is totally immersed in social media and has the propensity and energy to blog and write.
The cornerstone of our program is the Festival of Dangerous Ideas which attracts some of the world's most controversial thinkers who come together for a festival of innovative and provocative ideas.
The role:
* You will be responsible for developing and implementing innovative marketing campaigns for performances and initiatives.
* Building an audience and a community is an important aspect of this role.
* A strong understanding of building brands and brand equity will be critical as we have major aspirations for this program.
Importantly, you will also be part of a dedicated marketing team responsible for many areas including music, performing arts, tourism, community, retail and education. There are loads of opportunities for career growth for the right candidate.
Requirements:
* Marketing Degree qualified with minimum 3 years media, entertainment or similar industry marketing experience.
* Proven track record of success in the implementation of strategic marketing campaigns that deliver commercial targets.
* Excellent communication, relationship management and negotiation skills.
* Proven experience in Digital and Social Media activities
