Our client, one of Australia`s leading publishers and specialists in providing innovative advertising programs for clients, seeks Group Sales Manager to lead and motivate an advertising sales operation of Account Managers across their performance advertising offering.
You will support the National Sales Director in directing day-to-day operations and team management.
Main Tasks:
· Systematically and regularly maintain contact with existing clients and agencies ensuring they are serviced and receive guidance and recommendations across the company’s performance advertising and digital portfolio.
· Assist the Sales Director to develop sales strategies that will ensure the sales team identifies opportunities and new clients and actively encourage them to advertise with the company’s portfolio, thereby maximising revenue opportunities and national client spend to achieve greater revenue share.
· Take an active role and work with the Sales Director to plan, develop and maintain annual operational budgets.
· Monitor expenditure and bookings of the clients in your group and ensure revenue commitments and bookings are being achieved and are being handled in accordance with Company policies, procedures and strategies.
· Regularly review client and agency satisfaction levels and ensure corrective action is implemented to resolve any issues.
· Maintain a high level of knowledge of the industry, the market place, and the company’s competition.
· Manage, develop and lead the Account Managers. Take on the responsibility of the skill development and career progression of the individuals within the group, and manage poor performance in accordance with Company policies and procedures.
