Snack Drawer wins Netflix ANZ

Internet-first creative agency Snack Drawer will be responsible for Netflix ANZ’s editorial content and social accounts to drive conversation across TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and podcast channels.

Snack Drawer managing director Jamie Searle said: “Netflix is ubiquitous in the cultural conversation in Australia, and we are delighted to be able to help facilitate that with content creation across social and podcasting.”

Snack Drawer is hiring three dedicated positions for the Netflix ANZ account -- chief of staff, editorial lead and a content creator -- who will join an existing team of creators and social media executives.

The dedicated Netflix ANZ team will work directly with Netflix ANZ, with executive oversight from Snack Drawer co-founders Jamie Searle (ex-Thinkerbell and Brave Bison) and Hannah McElhinney (ex-Vice Media).

Snack Drawer chief creative office Hannah McElhinney said: “Especially with upcoming local productions on the horizon, it’s an exciting time for ANZ entertainment and pop culture already, working with a brand that’s at the forefront makes it even sweeter.”

Netflix is the latest addition to Snack Drawer’s growing client roster, including, NBCUniversal, Eucalyptus, Smiling Mind, Swinburne University and Wanderlust.
