Former Bacardi marketer joins OMD's content hub

OMD has appointed former Bacardi head of marketing Kristie Asciak to the head its content division, OMD Fuse. The previous head, Jez Clarke, is returning to the UK.

Prior to joining OMD, Asciak was head of marketing at Bacardi Lion. Most recently she has been working on contract as communications director of Telstra at OMD Fuse.

OMD Sydney MD Aimee Buchanan says Asciak will be responsible for driving innovative marketing solutions in the content and brand activation space and building a strong team.

Last week, OMD was the talk of media agency land, picking up new clients Coles and Target, and retaining Village Roadshow.
