Leo Burnett Sydney has named former client services director Pete Bosilkovski as managing director.

He takes on the role immediately.

Bosilkovski is behind the agency’s strategic partnership with Diageo that saw the creative agency take on all strategic duties for the drinks maker including media planning. Bosilkovski also created the agency’s joint venture internship programme with Diageo The Nest.

Todd Sampson, CEO of Leo Burnett Australia, said: “Pete is one of the most driven, dedicated and hard working people in the industry and has played an important role in making our business what it is today. I’m proud to be able to promote from within and therefore recognise all that he has done for our business.”

Bosilkovski added: “I’m thrilled to have been promoted to managing director of the Sydney office. Todd and I work brilliantly as a team as we share the same ambition and values for the company. My job is simple, make this place even better than it already is."
