Bastion EBA appoints Lizzie McManus head of brand experience

Bastion EBA, Bastion Collective’s strategic brand, commercial and experiential agency has appointed Lizzie McManus to the newly created role of head of brand experience based in Sydney.

Before joining Bastion EBA, McManus was group account director at MKTG and has also worked in senior roles at One Green Bean and Secret Sounds in Sydney.

McManus brings more than 10 years experience developing global brand strategies and organising and managing teams to deliver integrated and interconnected brand stories. She has worked with clients across North America, Western Europe and Australia for brands such as Diageo, Optus and Snapchat.

This appointment comes as part of Bastion EBA’s recently announced expanded service offering, which includes a national team of 25 specialists across strategy, creative, commercial and experiential.

Bastion EBA general manager Matt McCann: “As our business has evolved over the past 12 months, it has been critical to identify the right team aligned to our future business model.

“We have the absolute pleasure of welcoming Lizzie McManus to the team in a newly created role based in Sydney. Lizzie will be responsible for our business nationally and, with her background, allows us to bring together all facets of the experiential experience.

“Lizzie brings awesome global and local expertise which is going to be brilliant for our team to tap into.”

Bastion EBA has also appointed Mitch Crowe-Hardy in another new role, brand strategist, based in Melbourne.

Crowe-Hardy previously worked for 303 MullenLowe, Y&R and the projects* on brands such as Samsung, Mercedes-Benz, Porsche, Pernod Ricard, Reebok and Transport NSW.
