Initiative has lured Andrew Lamb, former managing director of media agency TMS, as client partner.

Lamb, a former board member of the MFA, has worked with a wide variety of clients and is the second appointment to the newly created role at Initiative in two weeks as Initiative boss Lee Leggett builds out her senior team.

Last week the agency also announced Damian Terakes, former general manager of Razor, was joining the agency as a client partner.

Lamb has had a long career working directly with clients including brands such as Toyota, Sealy, Sharp, BMW, Red Bull and Telstra. He left TMS after 12 years in April.

Leggett said Lamb's breadth of experience would be invaluable to clients in the role which is engaged in team leadership.

"Andrew carries a high level of respect in the industry,” Leggett said.

“Among the marketing community and media owners he is known for building strong relationships with clients and as a team leader. He is the calibre of executive I am focused on bringing into the Initiative team and I am looking forward to working with him.”
