Global brand experience agency Jack Morton has launched a new mental health and wellbeing program Balance Your Inner Orange across its agencies worldwide.

The program, which was originally conceived in the Jack Morton Australia office, runs throughout October.

It is designed to help the agency’s employees find "centre" in their working life, bring calm to their work-life balance and lead the office to a happier and healthier working environment.

The program provides training and tools that address the importance of emotional and mental wellbeing.

Throughout the month, the agency will hold a series of activities, including workshops from leading experts in the field, sharing sessions, and meditations, all designed to help employees bring inner calm and peace.

As part of the program, the agency introduces Boost Someone’s Brightness, an initiative that celebrates small acts of kindness and promotes recognition within the industry.

This initiative encourages Jack Morton employees around the world to extend their gratitude and recognition beyond the agency by sharing their message of thanks to family, friends, clients, suppliers and partners.

Jack Morton joins Publicis Groupe, TBWA Sydney, Initiative and a number of other agencies looking to address mental health in the workplace following last year's Mentally Healthy study which revealed the industry showed greater signs of mental illness compared to the national average.

The Mentally Healthy Change Group has also recently introduced the first Minimum Standards for Mental Health for the industry with 20 organisations already signing up their support, including Facebook, Fjord, Edelman, Havas, Hearts & Science, IAB, McCann, MFA, Omnicom Media’s PHD, OMD and Resolution, Ooh! Media, Tonic Health Media and Verizon Media.
