MiQ Australia has appointed four new staff as the programmatic company embarks on national expansion.

Recent investments including a partnership with Samba TV have seen the Australian business expand geographically on the way to a national footprint.

Hannah Cooper joins MiQ from Quantcast where she was NSW group head of agency sales for the last four years.

Cooper will take on the newly created role of director, advanced TV AU and holding companies, NSW.

Cooper will play a role in driving the transformation of advanced TV capabilities in Australia for MiQ’s clients and will lead the NSW holding company agency team.

Cooper, who has also worked with Yahoo!7, Seven West Media’s Red and Maxus, will report into MiQ commercial director, Fiona Roberts, from November 9.

Aynaz Fathi joins MiQ as sales manager based in Brisbane. Fathi was previously group sales manager at Network 10 in Brisbane.

She reports to the Brisbane sales director for MiQ, Madison Wappett.

Fathi is well credentialed to grow the Queensland market with a broad range of experience having worked previously at Pandora and News Corp as well.

Jennifer Lao joins MiQ from her most recent role as client advisory manager at IPG Mediabrands' Matterkind. She has also previously worked at The 360 Degree Marketing Group.

Lao becomes sales executive within the MiQ independent agency team.

She reports to Stuart Parker, sales director for independent agencies at MiQ.

Jason Huang joins MiQ from Xandr where he was a product specialist. He joins the team of programmatic traders at MiQ and will report into James Anderson, operations and trading director at MiQ.

“From day one our ambition at MiQ has been to produce the best programmatic media results underpinned by the sharpest data insights and delivered by the smartest people,” MiQ Australia CEO Jason Scott says.

“Within the global MiQ business, Australia and New Zealand are crucial markets in the company's strategic plans. At the centre of our growth plan is bringing in great talent. Our ambition is showcased by the talent we are attracting in our most recent round of hires.”
