Prospective Cannes Young Lions have six weeks to show how they would help position News Limited's content as the place to go for sports coverage. The competition opens today spanning film, cyber, media, print and marketing categories.
The annual competition helps pick out the best young talent in Australia. A big career boost, prestige and cocktails await the winners.
See the briefs here. Entries must be in by 10 April. After that, finalists will be notified and challenged to respond to a brief within 24 hours (48 hours for film). Winners are announced at a cocktail event on 10 May.
Launching the call for entries, Fiorella Di Santo, News Limited group director - sales, wished entrants the best of luck but warned that winning the competition was "no easy feat". However, she was "looking forward to unearthing the young talent to represent Australia against the world's best in Cannes".
Entry is open to anyone aged under 28 (or under 30 for the marketing category).
