Maxus has hired former Nokia global head of planning and Aegis strategy head Claire Taylor-Rowe as chief strategy officer.

Taylor-Rowe was the chief strategy officer for Aegis in North Asia. She's also worked for Naked Communications, Initiative and PHD in UK and Europe.

Maxus chief executive Jon Chadwick said: “The appointment of Claire comes at a critical phase as we further diversify and evolve our business. Claire is a 'world class' talent, having developed global-standard thinking on GM, LVMH, COI, Sony Europe, Nokia and Unilever. We are lucky to have her in the team to help drive our next phase of growth.”

She will also join the agency's management team.
