BMF has appointed former BBH man Dominic Stinton as CEO. Once he's packed up from London will replace Jeremy Nicholas who left two weeks ago after 12 years at the agency.
Stinton joins from creative agency VCCP, where he was group MD. He also has specialist social experience after setting up VCCP Share, the firm's social unit. As well as Sydney, VCCP has offices in London, Berlin, Prague, Madrid and Bratislava.
He also spent almost a decade at BBH, both in London and Singapore. Stinton also had stints at HHCL & Partners after beginning his career at Still Price Lintas. Over a long career he's worked with big brands including Unilever, Levi Strauss, Diageo and KFC. He also spent some time as a marketing director at UK telco Talk Talk.
BMF founding partner and executive chair, Matthew Melhuish, said he and Warren Brown knew Stinton from BBH in London. "It's great to have that background in common with Dom. We’re looking forward to welcoming him to Australia and the BMF family.”
Stinton said he'd worked with "some of the best" in his time and ranked BMF as a "world class" agency. "The fact that it happens to be based in Australia is an added bonus,” he said.
Melhuish, will continue to be highly involved at BMF over the interim period.
