The company formerly known as Hopscotch Films is pitching its main media account with a number of agencies vying for the $8-$12 million account.

Now known as Entertainment One, the company spent around $8m across all media last year, with the bulk of that on metro TV and press. It is thought that the company is planning to increase that spend this financial year.

The pitch is for media buying. While there is a strategic element to the brief, Haydon Bray, who is consulting on the pitch, will take the client strategic lead.

It is thought up to six agencies, both independents and networked groups, are pitching for the account, which has not yet reached shortlist stage.

The account was held by Carat in the past, however a spokesperson said it was no longer housed within the agency.
