NRMA: Car Creation

Whybin TBWA said it has exited the pitch for NRMA Insurance's main creative advertising account, leaving the path clear for agencies including Host and M&C Saatchi.

The account is one of the biggest in Australia and it is thought that virtually every major creative agency without a conflicting client piled into the pitch. That process is now drawing to a close with a shortlist drawn up with an announcement due within the next couple of weeks.

Whybin TBWA won the business in 2010 and has been recognised for its work, last year picking up the Grand Effie prize for its Car Creation campaign, plus Silver and Bronze Lions in Cannes the previous year.

However, the agency said it has exited the Insurance Australia Group agency review process citing a "difference of opinion on the future strategic direction of the brand".

"We are very proud of the positive business impact we have had working together with IAG over the past four years," said Paul Bradbury CEO Whybin\TBWA Group. "We wish them all the very best for the future".
