Kerching! A branded solution to the web's most annoying hinderance

Branded content really is the solution to all of life's problems. A cool new web app has found a branded solution to those super annoying 'Are you a human?' tests on websites. You know the ones: type a word, prove your beating heart, then scream obscenities at the screen.

A new startup call Swipe Ads, headed by Queensland Media Group business development manager Chris Macaulay, has taken up the challenge of making the online world slightly less annoying. Yes, they've found the solution to CAPTCHA (completely automated public Turing test to tell computers and humans apart).

Instead of typing in a word to show you're not a robot, now you can play a quick game to prove your a human (or at least a really smart machine). Way more fun. And the good news for advertisers is, the games can be completely branded. They call it FunCaptcha.

So not only will consumers be less annoyed, they will be less annoyed while being provided with a brand message. Brilliant.

According to Macaulay, they are negotiating with ad networks, but expect big name brands in the coming months.
