DDB boosts social intelligence unit
DDB Sydney has hired Publicis Mojo's head of planning and discovery Frances Clayton to join its strategic division, which includes its social intelligence unit. DDB Group Sydney managing director of strategy and innovation, Leif Stromnes, said: “We are very excited to welcome Fran to the DDB Sydney team. Her socio-logical and discovery based approach to strategic projects will add a strong sense of depth and further intelligence to an already diverse team. She is a true modern thinker.”

Exciting ABC news
The ABC's executive committee has made a decision that basically means that publishers wishing to report net paid digital version sales must also report the corresponding digital enhanced version sales, digital replica version sales and paid website version sales. That decision is effective from 1 July.

Mayday, a news stills casting agency is now servicing the Melbourne market. The firm promises to provide models and real faces for a range of commercial photography projects. What's more, it will fill a gap in the market.
