Ninemsn awarded for innovation in video

Local brands Ninemsn and V8 Supercars brought home the bacon for Australia in landing global innovation awards at this year's Brightcove Awards.

The Brightcoves recognise digital media excellence. Winners across nine categories were announced including Best Agency Campaign, Best Connected TV App, Best Customised Player and Best Live Video Event.

Ninemsn took out the award for Best Premium Video Initiative for its catch-up TV service. V8 Supercars won the Best Live Video Event for its Clipsal 500.
