Hottest young talent win plaudits and trip to Cannes

Young agency guns from 303Lowe, cumminsross,  DDB Sydney, and UM  took the plaudits at the Australian Cannes Young Lions competition last night.  Client-side winners came from AMP Capital and RAC Victoria.

The winning teams get a trip to Cannes for the Cannes International Festival of Creativity next month.

News Limited's competition, in which contestants had a day produce a campaign supporting the Murdoch Children’s Research Institute (MCRI) with the objective to drive brand awareness and increase donation revenue. The film category received an extra 24 hours to turn the work around.

News Limited group director – sales Fiorella Di Santo said the “level of talent” of the 80 finalists “made selecting winners extremely difficult”.

She added: “Huge congratulations must go to the five winning teams selected to represent Australia on the world stage.”
