Fresh from launching its loaded fries, McDonald's Australia has launched Loaded, The world’s largest crowd directed short film starring fries.
The project was created by VML Australia as part of the product push and gave fry fanatics the chance to help Detective Fry solve a Fry Town crime.
Staring Fryana Spudly, Howard Spudly and Detective Joe Fry, the story follows the disappearance of Howard Spudly, with over 3 million fans contributing to the film.
Those who participated even get to see their name up in lights, with everyone who took part being featured in the film’s credit roll.
MD and executive creative director at VML Australia, Aden Hepburn, said previously it's been a fun project working with McDonald’s on ‘Loaded’ and the agency is pleased to have been able to produce a social component “which truly engages McDonald’s fans”.
