Introducing the 12th Man Challenge: a test of your knowledge and punting prowess for a chance to win a range of prizes totaling $40,000, from TAB.

The challenge, by independent ideas and innovations agency The Idea Shed, presents players with a number of promotions throughout the world cup. Each innings, players will be presented with a number of odds related challenges rating to either the game in progress or cricket and 12th Man trivia. The greater the odds, the greater the points players can score.

Players with the highest scores at the end of each innings will win a TAB account top up as well as 12th Man merchandise. The winner of the leaderboard will win a trip to London with a mate.

TAB Wagering's GM marketing Tracy Marshment said the campaign makes the most of the “second screen”.

“Second screening has become an integral part of watching live sport and we saw the opportunity to partner with Australia's favourite cricket commentator, Billy Birmingham, as the perfect fit for the world cup.”

The Idea Shed MD Will Riley said: “As cricket and 12th Mans fans this has been a great project to partner with the TAB on.

“We've been able to incorporate the latest real-time web technology to create a really fun, engaging game that adds an extra dimension to live World Cup viewing.”

Players have to visit 12thmanchallenge.com.au and register via email or Facebook.
