Sportsbet presents stereotypical racegoers

When you go to the races you're probably going to see a few of Sportsbet's stereotypes, definitely a few fitting 'The Drunk' mould.

‘The Disinterested’ is wearing the same suit he wore to a funeral and he’s on his mobile all day, ‘The Drunk’ has had far too many plastic beer cups and he's hiding a couple of stubbies in his socks, ‘The Expert’ has the form guide glued to his hand and ‘The Organiser’ is running around after ‘The Disinterested’ who is hiding food in his pockets. Welcome to race day.

Sportsbet has created four Spring Carnival stereotypes in separate 60 second spots. The social video campaign was created in-house and has already clocked up a combined 100k worth of views.

“Let’s be honest, we all know a few of these characters at Flemington so our campaign is more of a kick-it-out campaign to stop these stereotypes!” said sportsbet.com.au’s Will Byrne.
