Amex has launched a new campaign to promote its support of Australian business owners.

Shark Tank star Andrew Banks reckons it’s time to take Australian business to a whole new level in a video content series for American Express.

The campaign aims to showcase the many common characteristics and differences that define business owners to launch the American Express Idea Exchange Initiative.

Created in partnership with CX Lavender, the content series will run across EDMs, digital advertising, social media and a campaign landing page with the goal of driving traffic to the site where business owners can sign up for seminars and win spots on workshops, among other perks.

Ultimately, Idea Exchange aims to offer Amex cardholders with more value that a standard business card.

“Business owners never stop; to succeed they must stay curious and ask the right questions. But it can feel overwhelming. It’s also important to realise you’re not alone and that you can’t do everything yourself,” Banks said.

“The Idea Exchange is a great way for business owners to take time out from being ‘in’ their business and to reflect on the experiences, success, learnings and ideas I can share, plus those of their peers in the American Express community.”

Peter Likoudis, Amex global commercial services VP of marketing for APAC, added: “With the launch of the new American Express ‘Powerful Backing’ brand campaign earlier this year, we wanted to create an initiative that tangibly demonstrates how we back our business customers and support their efforts to grow and attract new customers.
