The campaign celebrates the borders reopening between South Australia and NSW.

The South Australian Tourism Commission (SATC) in conjunction with Qantas and Qantas Hotels, and in partnership with Nova 96.9’s Fitzy & Wippa breakfast show, is giving away five daily major holiday packages to South Australia in celebration of the South Australian borders reopening to NSW.

Launching on Monday September 28, the competition will run across the week on air as well as online at novafm.com.au.

In addition to the five holiday packages, SATC is giving away an additional 200 free return economy Qantas flights from Sydney to Adelaide.

“From vineyard tours in the Barossa, to luxury lodges on Kangaroo Island, glamping in the Flinders and diving with sharks in Port Lincoln, NSW residents can now discover the state’s world-class gourmet options, jaw dropping landscapes, abundant wildlife, vibrant city life and iconic coastal culture,” says SATC chief executive Rodney Harrex.

“We have operators who are already taking strong bookings from NSW, so this is a great chance to jump on a plane, get down to Adelaide and experience all that we have on offer.”

NSW is South Australia’s second largest domestic market and since the announcement of borders reopening, southaustralia.com visits from NSW are up by 39% compared to the previous week, which shows a strong demand for travel to South Australia from NSW.

Visitors from NSW spend more than $779 million each year in South Australia – second only to Victoria.
