Who would want to be like Manchester United star Paul Pogba?

Manchester United star Paul Pogba, with plenty of swagger, reminds us mere mortals that 'you will never be me' and is swiftly rebutted in a new spot for the season-long Adidas campaign Never Follows by Iris Worldwide.

"You won't wear this shirt, or dance like me," Pogba warns, before rudely interrupted by a young footballer's voiceover, which is how AdNews would imagine Eminem would sound if he was born a Cockney

"You, I don't want to be you, I don't want to be anything like you!"

The young lad then puts Pogba in his place over his dance moves, looks, image and ostentatious style...the cologne bit is gold.

The fast-paced ad has a tongue-in-cheek tone and mixes live action with animation, at times resembling a MTV music clip/video game mash-up.

It's remarkably addictive, quirky and fun, before the youngster delivers the killer (and somewhat predictable) line: "I don't wanna be you, I just want your boots."

And after watching this, who wouldn't.

The French footballer signs off with a simple message: "I'm Paul Pogba, you be you."

Check out these Pogba ads in the First Never Follows series, also featuring Luis Suárez, Mesut Özil and Gareth Bale. The first spot is 1 minute 45 seconds of goodness you won't regret:
