Taking a ride with your mate could save his life.

To mark Men’s Health week, beyondblue and Nissan Australia are encouraging men to take a drive and have a chat to help battle and anxiety and depression.

The initiative, by Whybin\TBWA Group Melbourne, uses voiceover to explain that men may not talk to each other face-to-face, but they might when they are side-by-side.

Nissan says car journeys are a great opportunity to talk a bit of banter could end up saving your mates life.

Recently, men’s health has become a more open topic of discussion in advertising, with the NRL, Headspace and Dove Men challenging outdated perceptions of masculinity. To see the ads, click here.
