As October draws to a close, men Australia-wide are preparing their upper lips for what is to come...

The end of October marks two things, a collective panic amongst the public that they could swear only a week ago it was April and the beginning of November. Better known as Movember.

Made in Movember is this year’s title for the month-long charity event and Urchin Associates is responsible for the look and feel for the creative.

In a month where some men get manlier and others just start resembling Borat, Urchin Associates are urging the public to support the greater cause behind the sometimes-questionable facial hair (think Salvador Dali).

Movember is going back to basics asking ‘Mo-Bros’ and ‘Mo-Sistas’ to unite, support each other and give generously to the cause. This year twelve famous Aussie faces are also pledging their upper lips to the cause including Olympic Swimmer, James Magnussen, AFL player, Nathan Fyfe, Masterchef winner, Brent Owens and NRL player, Timana Tahu.

Thanks to Gillette, Movember’s major sponsor, those who take part are also given the chance to see their face up on a wrap around billboard atop Melbourne’s Emporium.
