Marriott and Ogilvy have launched a new campaign as part of the Hong Kong Sevens Festival featuring retired rugby legend Sébastien Chabal.

The close to two-minute music video shows Chabal in various costumes, a play on what many attendees at the Rugby Sevens wear at the event, singing the DJ ötzi dance hit 'Hey Baby'

The campaign named 'Stay Brilliant', launched on social media with 'Bonjour.' This initial short film see Chabal don a french maids outfit, slamming his head through the wall of a hotel room, acting as a wake-up service.

The Ogilvy and Marriott team flew to London, shooting on location at the famous London Marriott Hotel Regents Park with Chabal.

“The flagship of the Marriott International portfolio, Marriott Hotels, is a brand known for innovation. We’ve tapped international rugby star Sébastian Chabal for our ‘Stay Brilliant’ video campaign to showcase our brand promises in an uplifting and humorous way. When guests check into a Marriott Hotel, they’ll be invited to join our best-in-class Marriott Rewards loyalty program and have access to exclusive experiences.,” Marriott International VP brand and marketing Asia Pacific Mike Fulkerson says.

Further ads include demonstrations by Chabal in local cuisine and the perfect head massage.
