The NSW Guerie Goats Union team hadn't won a game all season so Maccas asked the Wallabies' Matt Burke to give a helping hand to the struggling local team.

McDonald's will be hoping its latest campaign will bring it a win, with the small town of Geurie in New South Wales the centre of its feel-good "Bring Back the Win" ad.

Produced by Infinity Squared which also did the creative and selected Geurie as the focus of the ad, the ad features the winless Geurie Goats union team get a helping hand from Wallabies legend Matt Burke, and a plethora of Tongan players to help bolster the ranks of the side.

The ad also features community members receiving "community chest" cards, a nod to McDonald's Monopoly campaign, to help fufill their dreams.

The ad went live online on September 10 an is slated to run alongside the current Monopoly campaign, which is due to wind up in mid-October.

McDonald's is hoping the ad will prove shareable with the hashtag #monopolyatmaccas also featured in an effort to get consumers sharing their own winning moments.

The ad will be run on online channels, with a handful of different versions produced.
