Kraft Heinz has revealed new work for its Heinz Beanz product from Y&R New Zealand as the pitch process proceeds.

In a first for the food and beverages giant, the brand has released an animated film to kickstart its ‘Can Size for Every Aussie’ campaign.

The campaign launches in support of new products from Heinz Beanz; different size cans for every Australian and every occasion.

The animated short film introduces the loveable character of Geoff, the head of Heinz Beanz Innovation.

His passion for Heinz Beanz inspires him to create a can size that is perfect for himself but as he falls in love and his family grows, he realises he needs to invent new can sizes ideal for the changing occasions in his life.

Kraft Heinz commercial president Elkin Jackson says the Geoff campaign has been in the works for over a year and the launch of the ‘Can Size for Every Aussie’ campaign is one that the Kraft Heinz Business is extremely proud of.

“We’re extremely excited for the launch of this campaign as it is unique to Kraft Heinz in many ways. Creating a three minute animated film is a first for our business, and it is a true testament to the love Australians have for Heinz Beanz,” she says.

“We can’t wait to share this campaign with Australian consumers because as a business we’re always looking for new ways to excite and entertain our customers and we feel Geoff will be a character that the whole country will fall in love with.”

This work was created by Y&R New Zealand and its animation partner, Auckland-based Assembly.

AdNews understands the pitch is still underway for Kraft Heinz master brand.

At the end of last year, Spark Foundry, then Mediavest, picked up the Kraft Heinz media account from OMD.
