Building on the established You Know With GIO brand platform, Leo Burnett has created a new campaign focusing on the details the insurer provides.

Leo Burnett has created new campaign Details for GIO Insurance to build upon the insurer's established You Know With GIO brand platform.

The campaign focuses on "intriguing" details about everyday objects that we normally never think about, and links them to insurance in unexpected ways – a surprising reminder of how GIO, part of the Suncorp Group, offers knowledge and transparency, making them the smart choice for home and motor insurance.

Directed by Luke Bouchier of Finch, the launch films are the first part of a fully integrated campaign that will playfully remind consumers of GIO’s belief that details matter when it comes to insurance.

“We are excited to create a real point of difference in the highly competitive insurance market," Suncorp Group executive manager, marketing insurance Mark Behr says.

"Together, with Leo Burnett, we are very proud to launch our new campaign, extending on our successful brand platform, ‘You Know With GIO’, that aims to inform today’s insurance buyer, connecting with them on both a rational and emotional level.”

Launching with TV, radio, outdoor and digital, the brand will continue to explore other unexpected objects across a range of channels to demonstrate GIO’s appreciation for detail.
