Droga5 Sydney has released its final piece of work from the agency after announcing its closure last year.

For the launch of Tiger White in Malaysia, Tiger Beer partnered with the agency and production house The Sweet Shop to produce a short film. The 15-minute spot was released in December in Kuala Lumpur, a month after Tiger White’s launch in the country.

According to Adweek, the idea behind the film was conceptualised and produced using beer coasters, with ideas being crowdsourced from popular Malaysian bars on the back of coasters.

The entire film cast was crowdsourced too - the people with winning ideas were assigned roles including director, scriptwriters, actors, stylists, assistants and runners for the final production.

Droga5 Sydney closed in September last year. The business suffered a couple of blows after losing Woolworths and the exit of ECD Steve Coll.
