Your favourite 1980's bad boy is back.

Domino's Pizza in the US has hired the help of a modern day Ferris Bueller in its latest campaign.

Celebrating its live-track delivery app, the spot sees Stranger Things actor Joe Keery jumping over fences, running through backyards and even sprinting past Alan Ruck, who played Bueller's best friend in the 1986 film.

The campaign, from CP&B, pushes the latest technology from Dominos and will run across online, TV and across the pizza company's social media channels.

While the ad clearly re-imagines the 1986 cult classic, the agreement struck with Paramount Pictures to create the spot stipulated that nowhere in the campaign could the words 'Ferris Bueller' be uttered.

This is not the first time the Ferris Bueller image has been recycled, Honda brought on Matthew Broderick for its 2012 Super Bowl ad by RPA.
