Dollar Shave Club CEO and founder Michael Dubin appears in a follow up to his hilarious 2012 video with new spots for mail-order razor service.

Dollar Shave Club has launched a new in-house campaign with a series of 40-second spots that feature old dirty razors coming to life in order to take on the promises of longevity made by competitors.

The ads show men in fear of using old razors but reluctant to buy new ones because of price.

Founder and CEO Michael Dubin stars in each of the ads to tell viewers not to shave with “filthy razors because new ones are so expensive. Dollar Shave Club, amazing razors for a few bucks — shave with a fresh blade, anytime.”

The campaign follows on from Dubin's now-famous 2012 ad, which also features the CEO selling the mail-order razors in a 90-second video that went viral.

The clips were co-written by Dubin and Dollar Shave Club creative director Alec Brownstein.
