The latest campaign from Big W aims to get kids excited about the start of a new school term.
The 'Start Something Great' campaign gears up families for the first exercise of 2019: back to school shopping.
Airing across the country from this week, the campaign encompasses three 15-second TV spots which capture kids’ treasured experiences at school.
One of the campaign clips illustates a mother collecting her daughter from school. The mum asks what she did at school and the daughter replies 'nothing' and runs off continuing to play with her friends. The clip pans to a glue stick, concluding that all your needs are under one roof at Big W.
“Back to School is a defining occasion in child’s year, so we wanted to authentically celebrate the moments that Aussie kids experience - from new friendships to fun schoolyard games," says general marketing manager Kristen Linders.
Led by integrated agency Magnum & Co. The campaign is supported through social with the Proud Parent Moment competiton on Big W's Facebook. The competition inviting Aussie parents to share a photo and story of an achievement their child has made in the lead up to starting school.
