ANZ pokes fun at popular culture; promotes mobile pay

ANZ has launched its new campaign for mobile payments from Whybin\TBWA Melbourne.

The new campaign is based on a simple human truth: when it comes to new technology, the more useful it is, the sooner we all take it for granted.

In the spots, we observe people using and misusing, the latest mobile offering from ANZ.

For example, a girl in her activewear taps her butt on the machine to pay with her mobile. Another ad stars a man too involved in his phone conversation to break it and pay for his items.

The ads aim to show paying with your phone can be simple and "you'll be taking it for granted in no time".

The campaign follows ANZ's Apple Pay launch last month.
