EMI Music has launched an online game www.wayoutwars.com where users can test their musical knowledge and earn points towards discounts on song purchases.

Created by digital agency Hydro, the game requires users to type in the name of the artist whose track they hear playing within a 20 second timeframe.

Built entirely using HTML5, Hydro says "Way Out Wars" provides users with a rich, engaging experience without the need for Adobe Flash.
