The International Campaign to Abolish Nuclear weapons (ICAN) is to launch a campaign to drive support for its cause.
With its aim of total nuclear disarmament, ICAN's "Millionpleas" campaign is asking people to upload videos, or pleas, onto its website. They will form the "world's longest video chain letter", which will be presented to world leaders.
A TV spot was filmed in Hiroshima and features young children addressing the nine countries in possession of nuclear weapons.
The campaign will roll out across TV, print, radio and online to coincide with the 65th anniversary of the Hiroshima bombings.
The campaign was created by Whybin\TBWA\Tequila. All agencies and companies working on the campaign are doing it on a probono basis.
