Austereo is to launch a marketing campaign featuring former Guns N' Roses lead guitarist, Slash, to support rock station Triple M's 30th birthday celebrations.
Slash has re-recorded the station's Dr Dan theme, which was synonymous with Triple M in the 80s and 90s. The theme and a relaunched logo form the basis of the campaign, with the first of two TVCs launching on Sunday 4 July in Melbourne and Sydney.
This will be followed up with an outdoor and digital campaign, including large format supersites and AdShel street furniture with Bluetooth functionality allowing consumers to download the theme to their mobile phones.
