Coles is one of the largest supermarket groups in Australia. Coles, which is owned by Wesfarmers Ltd, which also owns Kmart, Target, Bunnings, Liquorland and OfficeWorks, opened its first store in 1914. The first Coles supermarket opened in 1961 - it now has more than 740 stores and customers make service more than 18 million transactions each week.
