Wrigley makes over Extra creatures, enlists Antonio Banderas

Wrigley Extra's new global campaign stars actor Antonio Banderas.

Wrigley gum brand Extra has revamped its Food Creatures characters in a new global TV ad starring actor Antonio Banderas.

The ad launched yesterday and was a combined effort from AMV BBDO and DDB Australia. The Food Creatures characters were devised in Australia in 2007 and has featured across Extra's campaigns globally.

Wrigley marketing director Chris Blayney said: “As an international movie star, Antonio Banderas is the perfect ambassador to help give the Food Creatures a makeover and bring Extra's oral care message to life, encouraging consumers to incorporate Extra into their everyday routine.”
