What is Can't keeps toying with adland

As Westpac denies all involvement with the What is Can't teaser campaign, the brand behind the initiative has launched yet another stunt video, with Commonwealth Bank tipped as the mystery brand.

The brand sent an email with the video to AdNews earlier today, with the subject line “Can't get through?”, and a link to the website whatiscant.com.

The mystery teaser has had the advertising industry wondering just who is behind the campaign, which has seen the launch of a website, strong outdoor activity and another teaser video, which AdNews featured yesterday.

Westpac and Commonwealth Bank have both been named as potential advertisers behind the campaign. However, Westpac has flatly denied any involvement in the initiative.

The teaser campaign comes just weeks after Blackberry launched a mystery campaign called Wake Up, which was widely criticised in the press.

Journalists have been invited to a mystery event in the Sydney CBD this Friday (25 May), where the mystery brand will be revealed.
